BIBLE TALK FUN!

Bible Talks are a great way to build family (Hebrews 10:25) and share the good news (Romans 10:17). Every Monday night a few of us get together to break bread (Acts 2:42), preach the word, and encourage one another (Hebrews 3:13) over a bible discussion. This past Monday the lesson was on Mark 10:17-31. From this passage we discussed all the good things this young ruler had performed, but when he approached Jesus he discovered the one thing that prevented him from following Jesus. Furthermore, we took some time to examine our individual lives, to identify the thing(s) that prevent us from being able to follow Jesus whole-heartedly. The highlight of the discussion was vs. 27 where Jesus said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God." From this we know that with God’s help we can overcome the situations, issues, and challenges that prevent us from having a relationship with God through Jesus.
