Hurricane Noel Ravages the Caribbean


An Important message from Our Brother Angel Martinez, The Lead Evangelist of the Santo Domingo Church of Christ:

...It has been intense everything that has happened and yes the disciples and family members are ok.

HOPE does have a plan though, We will be collecting everything but specifically clothing for people and taking it to one of the shelters. We also have a follow up plan for after all this immediate help is over, the tendency here is after something like this the people are showered with stuff at first but are given no follow up afterwards.

How can you help? I believe where you guys can help would be by sending:

• Dry goods
• Can goods (stuff that can be eaten with no, or very little preparation).
• The biggest need at the moment is for food that will not spoil for adults
• as well as for young babies (ie: powered milk, baby food, diapers etc....).
• Second to that would be shoes, clothes are often given but many times shoes are not which is also a major need.
• HOPE will be going frequently to a specific shelter, our plan is to adopt one in particular to able to meet the major needs in that place.
