Amazing October Service...
By Angel Maldonado

The Sunday service on October 1st was one of the most amazing church services I have ever been a part of. The Greater Atlanta Church of Christ joined in fellowship with the Stone Mountain Church of Christ and the All Nations Church of Christ. The angels rejoiced with us as two souls were baptized into Christ during service. Ibrahim Kargbo and Jen Spears made the good confession that Jesus is Lord before being buried in the waters of baptism. Ibrahim is a student at Clark Atlanta University. He is now the only brother on that campus and is already striving to build the CAU ministry. Jenn Spears is now the only sister on the campus of Atlanta Christian College. Both of those schools now have an opportunity to hear the Gospel.  Check out the pictures to the right...

The preaching that followed the baptisms was incredible. Frank Davis, who leads the All-Nations Church, preached on the Man—Jesus Christ—and how unity is only found in following him. Scott Kilpatrick leads the Stone Mountain Church and he preached on The Message. Our lead evangelist Mike Patterson closed it out with a bang with his message on our mission and about the miracle that happened on the Day of Pentecost when 3000 people got baptized. That is the types of miracles we look forward to today.

Finally, Speech and Arrested Development tore the roof off the Sheraton Buckhead Hotel with a concert featuring his classics and his new songs. All the brothers, sisters and guests were grooving to the hits! We look forward to seeing more and more miracles as brothers work together for the sake of the Gospel being preached to the city of Atlanta, the nation and the world.
